Sam Woolley is a member of a new breed of quietly working New York artists, whose successes have stretched from here to Los Angeles. He came to prominence on the coast through curator Lenora Claire's early World of Wonder Gallery shows as well as being recognized for his design work when he was a selected as a Los Angeles finalist in the Cut&Paste Design Competition at The Music Box @ Fonda Theater

At the start of 2012 one of his pieces was placed in the Rockefeller Center as a permanent feature in the NBC Universal offices. His style has been nurtured and supported by the New York boutique Coat of Arms NYC, Greedy Geniu$ sneakers and ConArtist gallery in the Lower East Side. Sam had a one-man show in May 2011 at ConArtist. He has been commissioned to do various works recently, and has been featured in videos with rappers Cormega and Danny Brown
